AVIA Media Group Expands Real Estate Drone Photography Las Vegas Agents Rely On for Aerial Listing Coverage

Veteran-owned Las Vegas real estate media company flies FAA Part 107 certified, fully insured pilots for aerial photography and videography across Summerlin, Henderson and Clark County
LAS VEGAS, Nev —( SP Tech Solutions )— August 25, 2026 — AVIA Media Group, a Las Vegas real estate media company serving Southern Nevada agents since 2019, delivers real estate drone photography Las Vegas listing agents can book with confidence — flown exclusively by FAA Part 107 certified pilots and backed by insurance coverage up to $2 million.
Aerial photography for Las Vegas real estate is included in three of the company’s five listing packages and available throughout a service area extending from Mt. Charleston to Boulder City and out to Pahrump.
Airspace complexity makes certification a practical necessity
Much of the valley sits within controlled airspace generated by three airports. Harry Reid International anchors a substantial block of Class B airspace — the most tightly regulated category the FAA designates. North Las Vegas Airport and Henderson Executive Airport produce additional controlled zones covering neighborhoods where agents list homes daily. Northeast of the city, Nellis Air Force Base carries restricted airspace, and the Nevada Test and Training Range extends across a large area to the north and northwest.
Nevada law reinforces the federal framework. State statute makes operating an unmanned aircraft within five miles of an airport without consent or FAA authorization a misdemeanor.
A meaningful share of Clark County addresses therefore require authorization before a legal commercial flight — something that cannot reliably be determined at the listing appointment.
“Agents don’t always realize that when an uncertified pilot flies over their listing, the exposure doesn’t stay with the pilot,” said Aeon Jones, owner and founder of AVIA Media Group. “It follows the agent and it can follow the brokerage. We handle airspace authorization before the appointment, not when we pull into the driveway. That’s not a premium feature. That’s the baseline for doing this work properly in this city.”
Certified commercial operators use LAANC — the FAA’s Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability — to obtain clearance in controlled airspace, often within minutes. Coverage is not universal. Certain grids near the resort corridor return no automatic approval and require manual application through the FAA’s DroneZone portal, a process that can take several days.
Aerial coverage shows what ground-level listing photography cannot
Beyond compliance, drone work solves a marketing problem specific to how buyers evaluate property online.
Aerial imagery communicates lot size, boundaries, roof condition, and a property’s relationship to surrounding features — a golf course fairway, a mountain view corridor, proximity to open desert. Ground-level property photography flattens all of it.
Several Southern Nevada property types are difficult to market without it. Acreage and large-lot listings in areas including Blue Diamond and Moapa Valley need aerial framing to convey scale and access. Resort-style backyards, common throughout Henderson and the southwest valley, read substantially better from above. Homes near Red Rock Canyon or with mountain exposure sell partly on views only aerial work captures accurately.
Luxury real estate photography in Las Vegas depends on it especially heavily. Guard-gated estate communities including The Ridges, Ascaya, MacDonald Highlands, Seven Hills and Southern Highlands sit on terrain that defines the property’s value, and that terrain is invisible from the driveway.
Industry research supports the investment. Analyses of MLS data have found homes marketed with aerial imagery sell measurably faster than comparable listings without it, and aerial coverage has been associated with gains in perceived value on higher-priced properties.
Examples of the company’s aerial and ground work across Summerlin real estate photography, Henderson listings and the Strip-corridor high-rise towers are available in its online portfolio.
Desert conditions shape aerial scheduling
Southern Nevada imposes operational constraints that affect flight planning year-round.
Temperatures above 110 degrees reduce battery performance, shorten flight duration and cut lift capacity, which is why summer aerial work is frequently scheduled early in the day. Wind limits ground flights regardless of certification. Monsoon season introduces short-notice weather changes.
AVIA reschedules weather-affected shoots at no charge, treating those conditions as operational realities rather than billable inconveniences.
“You cannot negotiate with 112 degrees and a 30-mile-an-hour wind,” Jones said. “What you can do is plan around it and not charge an agent for something neither of us controls. Our clients have listings going live on a schedule. Our job is to protect that schedule.”
Drone work integrated with complete listing media
Aerial coverage is delivered as part of AVIA’s single-source model rather than as a standalone booking. The company provides listing photography, drone photography and real estate videography, cinematic and social video, twilight photography, virtual staging, floor plans for real estate, 3D tours, Zillow 3D Home, single property websites and its Total Marketing Kit in-house — eliminating the burden of coordinating separate vendors for each component.
MLS-ready photos are delivered the next day. Shoots are booked through an online system showing real-time photographer availability, and a free mobile app for iOS and Android allows clients to schedule appointments, manage bookings, download images, pay balances and share content directly to social channels.
