Medical program uses a 2 ATA hardshell chamber with individualized screening, treatment planning and ongoing clinical supervision

LAS VEGAS — July 15, 2026 — LV Longevity Lab today announced the availability of a medically supervised hyperbaric oxygen therapy program under the direction of Dr. Wallace Brucker, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and longevity medicine physician.

The program uses a hardshell hyperbaric chamber capable of operating at pressures of up to 2 atmospheres absolute, or ATA. Before beginning therapy, patients undergo a consultation and medical assessment to determine whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy is appropriate for their health history, goals and existing treatment plan.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, commonly known as HBOT, involves breathing oxygen inside a chamber pressurized above normal atmospheric pressure. The increased pressure allows the lungs to collect more oxygen than they would under standard atmospheric conditions.

“Hyperbaric oxygen therapy should begin with proper medical screening and a clear understanding of why it is being considered,” said Dr. Brucker. “Our program is structured around individualized assessment, clinical supervision and coordination with the patient’s broader health plan rather than treating the chamber as a stand-alone wellness service.”

Individualized Treatment Planning

LV Longevity Lab said treatment pressure, session duration and total number of sessions are determined individually following consultation.

Sessions may last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the prescribed protocol. The number of sessions may also vary according to the patient’s medical history, treatment objective, response and the supervising physician’s assessment.

The program may be considered as part of broader physician-directed care involving recovery planning, biomarker monitoring and other health services offered by the clinic. The availability of a service does not establish that HBOT is appropriate or effective for every condition or patient.

Certain established medical uses of HBOT are recognized by clinical and regulatory authorities. Other applications promoted in the broader wellness, performance and longevity markets may remain investigational, off-label or supported by limited evidence. Patients should discuss the strength of the available evidence, reasonable alternatives and expected limitations with a qualified clinician before proceeding.

Medical Screening and Safety

Every patient is evaluated for factors that may affect eligibility or require additional precautions. Screening may include a review of medications, lung and ear conditions, seizure history, implanted medical devices and other relevant health considerations.

Potential risks associated with HBOT can include ear or sinus pressure injuries, temporary vision changes, oxygen toxicity, seizures, claustrophobia and lung complications. Because oxygen-rich environments also create an elevated fire risk, staff training, patient supervision, equipment maintenance and compliance with the chamber manufacturer’s operating instructions are essential.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration advises HBOT facilities to follow manufacturer instructions, implement fire-prevention measures, provide appropriate staff training and supervise patients throughout treatment.

LV Longevity Lab said its program includes pre-treatment assessment, staff supervision during sessions and safety procedures appropriate to the equipment and treatment environment. Treatment outcomes vary, and no specific result is guaranteed.

Program Leadership

Dr. Brucker is a West Point graduate and board-certified orthopedic surgeon with experience in military medicine and performance-focused care. According to the clinic, his background includes work involving military personnel and subsequent training in longevity and preventive medicine.

At LV Longevity Lab, he oversees individualized programs involving diagnostics, recovery planning, hormone-related care and other physician-directed services. The newly announced HBOT service expands the clinic’s existing range of preventive and longevity-focused offerings.

“Adding hyperbaric oxygen therapy gives us another clinical tool that may be considered when appropriate,” Dr. Brucker said. “The priority remains careful patient selection, realistic expectations and responsible monitoring.”

Additional information about the program, consultation process and treatment environment is available on the LV Longevity Lab hyperbaric oxygen therapy page. The clinic’s website confirms that the program uses a 2 ATA hardshell chamber and provides individualized treatment planning under medical supervision.
